Assists QA Director/Manager to improve product quality at assigned Suppliers Location.

LOCATION: Dong Nai, Viet Nam.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:
- Monitor Supplier Ongoing Product Quality performance and initiate Continuous Improvement activities inorder to achieve/exceed the defined Supplier Quality Metrics.
- Build relationship with the vendors to gain their support to implement the QA system in the factories.
- Ensure compliance to regulations and corporate policies and procedures.
- Solve quality issues on-site in factories in order to support on time shipment.
- Review and analysis defect sample and take correction action.
- Monitor the Quality Plan at Supplier.
- Monitor and asses the deployment of effective Quality Tools at Supplier (e.g. 7 Gates of Quality, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, systemic and ongoing review of PFMEA RPN reduction, etc).
- Ensures Supplier conducts product testing as per the schedule agreed with Sharkninja. Report and lead failure investigations for product failures.
- Pre-Approves Supplier request for Deviations.
- Support the ECN Process at Supplier, ensuring the timely closure of ECN's.
- Ensure that the CAR process is updated including Root Cause Analysis and monitor the performance against the set metrics for CARs. Approve closure of CARs.
- Support QA Manager to make final decision on product improvement and product shipment decisions.
- Provide QA Manager with regular reporting of Supplier Ongoing Product Quality performance.
- Support weekly Quality Reporting on Supplier Quality.
- Support the NPD process and manage the NPI process at Supplier, ensuring it reflects DFSS and DFM (via the Manufacturing Engineering Group). Deliver own NPD/ NPI Quality Work Packages on time and required quality.
- Support the Product Readiness activities for New products at Supplier.
- Support the VSR process to ensure all relevant issues are listed. Ensure that closure of NPI related issues is based on robust root cause analysis and objective evidence.
- To work with engineering and quality teams to ensure quality requirements, testing protocols, sampling needs, and product/ process controls are fully understood and met.
- Implement improvement activity resulting from the review of Customer return data ensuring appropriate analysis and correlation with process performance lead to sustained improvement activities at the supplier.
- Support activities in cases where Supplier Quality problem may lead to extensive customer actions or product recall.
- Ensure that the QA Manager and appropriate senior management are immediately informed of serious quality problems.
You are Expected:
Skills:
- Be familiar with the functions of different quality gates, such as IQC, IPQC, FQC, EOL, PSI.
- Experience of understanding basic quality tools and be able to utilize them to drive the problems resolved or improvement.
- Experience of understanding of quality standards, quality audit and quality improvement.
- Able to speak local language, Alternatively English or Chinese or both as a plus.
- Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrates ownership and accountability of work; meets or beats deadlines and delivers quality results.
- Provides feedback for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates accuracy, clarity, consistency and thoroughness of work.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
- 5+years experience in quality management related.
- Bachelor's Degree in quality management, electrical or mechanical engineering.
Travel Requirements:
- Be flexible for domestic and international travel.
