Quality Engineer - Manual Tester

Responsibilities

• Understand business domain and propose test cases for user stories and non-regression.
• Execute comprehensive test cases across multiple browsers and devices.
• Perform thorough functional, regression, and usability testing of web applications
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports
• Investigate and document bugs with clear reproduction steps
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and identify potential issues
• Participate in agile ceremonies and provide testing status updates

Profile

• 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing of web applications
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
• Proficiency in testing across different browsers and devices
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web technologies
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• ISTQB certification (Preferred)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of SQL for basic database queries
• Experience with performance and load testing tools
