We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Executive to join our Vietnam team.
Responsibilities
- Checking physical, chemical, and microbiological quality parameters for dried fruits, fresh fruits & vegetables
- Conducting inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods against specifications and local regulatory standards.
- Testing equipment such as moisture meters and refractometers.
- Implementing and monitoring HACCP and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Understanding of allergen management (sulfites) and cross-contamination control.
- Contaminant detection and removal technologies (e.g. metal detectors, X-ray inspection systems, optical sorters).
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting quality data to identify trends and root causes of non-conformities. Oversee implementation and maintenance of quality systems and certifications (BRC, SEDEX, Organic, ISO, etc.)
- Ensure adherence to international regulatory and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of product quality and safety.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure timely closure.
- Effective communicating quality standards and issues across production, management, and regulatory teams.
- Keep up to date with changes in compliance and certification standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma in food technology, microbiology, agriculture or a related field.
- Experience in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for data management and reporting).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality control role in a food industry
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and external stakeholders.
