Quality Control Engineer (Manual)

Job Summary:

The QC Manual Tester will play a key role in ensuring the software applications meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance through meticulous testing and validation. This position demands a keen eye for detail, expertise in designing and executing test cases, and the ability to detect potential issues early in the development process. The QC Manual Tester will work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless user experiences and ongoing product enhancements. The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and committed to delivering top-quality software that aligns with both business objectives and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, develop, and execute detailed test cases based on business and functional specifications.

• Conduct various types of testing such as functional, regression, API, and cross-browser/device testing.

• Accurately report, track, and resolve defects using project management and bug-tracking systems.

• Review test results, identify recurring issues, and propose improvements to elevate system quality.

• Collaborate with development and product teams in Agile settings to ensure on-time, high-quality product releases.

• Continuously recommend enhancements to testing processes, tools, and techniques to boost overall efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Compputer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Over 4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with a solid understanding of manual testing methods.

• Practical experience testing across various browsers, platforms, and devices.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative team processes.

• Proficient in using testing tools and platforms such as Jira and Postman.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical approach to testing.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while also thriving in team settings.
