Role Description We're looking for on-site Quality Control Engineer role with Junior/Mid level based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Quality Control Engineer will design, implement, and maintain quality control processes for software and systems delivered by LF Global Tech.
Job Description:
- Contribute to ensuring product quality across the SDLC.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to define testing scope and testing approach.
- Participate in test planning, and test case reviews.
- Use AI tools to improve test design, automation, and debugging.
- Execute manual/automation testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and UAT support.
- Apply appropriate testing techniques to ensure test cases fully cover business requirements and system specifications.
- Identify, report, track, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Support release cycles and ensure features are truly ready for users.
- Work closely with engineers and BA/PO to clarify requirements and identify risks early.
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve identified defects.
Job Requirements:
- Having at least 1+ year of experience working in software testing with solid manual testing experience and basic exposure to automation testing. year of experience working in Tester position.
- Solid knowledge of development models: Agile/Scrum, Waterfall and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Quality mindset.
- The courage to ask questions and challenges when needed.
- English: Reading and Writing.
Nice to have
- Experience with agentic workflows and AI-driven development frameworks.
- Awareness of emerging AI tools and willingness to evaluate and adopt new capabilities.
- Familiarity with Playwright or any automation framework.
- Have experience in the Fintech/Trading domain.
- Experience in API testing, Database testing.
- Experience in non-functional testing (Security, Performance, etc.).
