Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced QC Auditor to join our Purchasing/Product Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting quality audits, reviewing product samples, collaborating with suppliers, and ensuring products meet company quality standards throughout the development and production process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely completion of project milestones during the new product introduction process.
• Execute assigned tasks within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
• Review development samples onsite with suppliers to ensure accuracy before submission to US/EUK offices.
• Conduct product quality audits according to ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 inspection standards.
• Develop and update inspection protocols for onsite audits.
• Identify quality issues and implement corrective action plans with suppliers.
• Prepare inspection reports, spreadsheets, and documentation to capture audit results and quality data.
• Ensure compliance with garment construction and quality requirements throughout the development process.
Required Qualifications:
• Knowledge of AQL standards and inspection methods for apparel, textiles, and footwear.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product development and quality control.
• Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
