Our client is a leading textile and garments company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
- Serve as a liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams (merchandising, QA, fabric) to address product quality matters.
- Provide technical advice and recommend corrective actions on technical issues.
- Review and evaluate samples including proto, counter, and size sets focusing on measurements, workmanship, and garment fit.
- Conduct market-based final approvals on behalf of clients when required.
- Personally manage critical customer concerns and serve as the go-to person for technical resolution, internally and externally.
- Fully understand the customer's setup processes and quality standards.
- Make periodic visits to factories and vendor sites if needed.
- Support other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Degree in Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in the apparel or garment industry.
- Solid background working with flat knitwear products (e.g., sweaters, cardigans).
- Well-versed in garment quality standards and control systems.
- Deep knowledge of fabric, textiles, and end-to-end manufacturing.
- Skilled in reading CAD patterns or drafting paper patterns.
- Sewing expertise is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eager to learn and adapt quickly.
- Demonstrates integrity and professionalism.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
