Job description
- Follow sampling and testing procedures according to the process.
- Perform sample analysis throughout the production process to maintain quality control. Record sample analysis results in the department logbook as well as enter into electronic files.
- Calibrate and maintain all laboratory equipment to ensure efficiency and accuracy of results.
- Perform quality inspection, assessment, audit according to regulations (daily, weekly and monthly).
- Study and lead a Pillar of the VPO system: Quality/Safety/Maintenance/Logistic.
- Monitor, update and write documents for the current work area: Physical chemistry/ microbiology/ Input material control/ sensory.
Job requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, Fermentation Science or related majors.
Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures and techniques; Ability to operate laboratory instruments and perform basic instrument maintenance.
Understanding of the brewing and packaging process, HACCP and Good Manufacturing practices for food manufacturing a plus.
Good understanding of quality assurance/ quality control and problem solving skills and to troubleshoot any beer related issues.
Good English reading and writing skills; Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Strong technical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Solid interpersonal skills, team orientation, communication and administration skills to interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers in a professional manner.
Ability to follow detailed instructions/ procedures, multi-task and manage stressful circumstances associated with a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
Analytical ability to gather, summarize data to find solutions to various administrative problems and prepare reports.
