We are seeking a hardworking, hands on, experienced Quality Assurance/Technical Manager to lead Factory team to manufacture high quality Self Drilling Screws for 100% export to the company's international customer network.
Company's production and quality processes are founded on world's best practice for raw material, dies, machinery, advanced corrosion coatings and all managed by a paperless IT production and quality management system. You will be supported by the knowledge and resources of Senior Management from the Australian Head Office team and China.
Duties and Responsibilities
Quality Management
- Proactively maintain high quality standards by strict adherence to company's established quality procedures and tooling die life policies.
Proactive / Continuous Improvements
- Work with Production & Quality staff to identify root causes of problems and implement corrective actions to achieve high quality production consistently throughout all stages of production.
Leadership and Team Building
- Supported the Australian Head office and experienced staff from the China operations, you will use your strong relationships and leadership skills to build an excellent quality focused team to achieve high quality production consistently.
Characteristics of the Ideal Candidate
- At least 6 years experience in Quality Management/Supervisory roles in the manufacture of high quality Self Drilling Screws or similar fasteners for export
- QC experience in Heat Treatment, Plating & Waste Water will be a strong advantage
- Experience in ISO 9001, 17025, 14001, 6S etc or comparable Quality Assurance Systems
- A stable work history
- Strong hands-on leadership and people skills (we do not want not an office person)
- A proactive, collaborative & problem solving work ethic
- The ability to work under pressure and collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels effectively
