Role Description
SoftFlex LLC is a global IT Solution provider Company seeking a QA Specialist to join our team.
The QA Specialist is responsible for maintaining product quality, enhancing the user experience, and meeting internal and external quality standards. They collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and operations teams to deliver high-quality software and products.
Functional Duties / Key Responsibilities
Build and manage QA plans, test tasks, stages, and execution timelines for assigned projects.
Execute functional, regression, and quality improvement testing activities throughout the development lifecycle.
Create and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports, and related artifacts, to track progress and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform and support various QA activities as needed, such as unit test support, API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing (training can be provided where needed).
Identify, document, report, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Excel), including clear reproduction steps and impact details.
Support operational quality by monitoring, documenting, and reporting product quality levels and recurring issue patterns.
Continuously improve QA processes, test frameworks, and tools to align with evolving technologies and best practices.
Provide guidance and support to new QA members and QA support staff in test preparation and execution.
Reporting and Monitoring
Prepare clear and comprehensive test reports that summarize defects, risks, and quality status, enabling the development team to address issues efficiently.
Investigate reported product quality issues and ensure they are resolved in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Track and communicate testing progress, defect trends, and release readiness to relevant stakeholders.
Cooperation and Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders (developers, PM/PDM, operations, etc.) to investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Participate in requirement reviews, test case reviews, and release discussions to ensure quality risks are identified early.
Support effective communication between QA, development, and operations teams to improve issue resolution and release quality
Qualifications
4-6 years of experience as Software Quality Assurance or related role
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Assurance Specialist
Good working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools
Knowledge of security testing principles
Experience with testing frameworks
Experience with issue-tracking systems such as JIRA ( tool proficiency )
English proficiency is required for this role.
Nice to have: Korean proficiency is a strong asset (highly preferred)
Working location: Epic Tower, Lane 19 Duy Tan Str., Cau Giay Ward, Hanoi
Time: 9 AM - 6 PM (Monday Friday)
Type of working:ONSITE (compulsory)
