Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Manager role based in Nha Trang. The Quality Assurance Manager oversees quality control across fabric and garment production lines, ensuring products meet company standards and international customer requirements. Daily responsibilities include establishing and updating quality procedures, conducting inspections and audits, analyzing defects and root causes, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with production and technical teams. The role involves close collaboration with manufacturing, planning, and merchandising to align quality targets with delivery timelines and cost objectives. The Quality Assurance Manager also prepares quality reports, supports customer inspections, ensures compliance with relevant standards, and coaches QA staff to maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong quality management skills, including development of QA processes, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with inspection and testing methods for textiles and garments, including in-line and final inspections, lab testing coordination, and defect analysis.
- Ability to use data and metrics for quality reporting, trend analysis, root cause identification, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Solid understanding of textile and apparel production processes (denim, woven, and knit), from fabric development to cutting, sewing, washing, and finishing.
- Knowledge of international quality, safety, and compliance standards relevant to apparel exports, and familiarity with buyer requirements and audits.
- Effective leadership and team management skills to guide QA staff, coordinate cross-functional problem solving, and foster a quality-focused culture.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese for reporting, documentation, and collaboration with internal teams and international customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, Quality Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Several years of quality assurance experience in textile or garment manufacturing, ideally in export-oriented environments.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple production lines and priorities on-site in Nha Trang.
