Position: QA Lead
Location: Vietnam (On-site, Full-Time)
Salary: USD 4,000 – 5,000 per month (Before Tax)

About the Role
Vortex is seeking an experienced QA Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives across our software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on testing expertise with proven team leadership experience, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products while building and mentoring a high-performing QA team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QA team, including workload planning, task allocation, performance management, and mentoring.
- Define and implement QA strategies, processes, standards, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
- Oversee functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Project Management teams throughout the SDLC.
- Drive test automation initiatives and improve overall testing efficiency.
- Monitor product quality metrics and provide regular reporting to management.
- Identify, track, and manage defects through resolution.
- Ensure releases meet quality standards and business requirements before deployment.
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience leading or managing QA teams.
- Proven experience establishing QA processes and quality standards.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Experience in both manual and automated testing environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in fast-paced technology or product development environments.
- Knowledge of API testing, database testing, and performance testing.
- Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications are advantageous.
