The Role

The Righ product team is looking for a QA Engineer to help our team ensure world class quality for our mobile and web apps. You will be responsible for serving as the gold standard for our team's QA process during various stages of development and deployment. You will own the quality of the final product that is put out for distribution.

You should be well versed in both functional and automated QA for web and mobile applications, with experience in testing tools like Selenium/Appium, Browserstack, Firebase Test Lab, Playwright, etc.

What you'll be doing:

• Take day to day ownership for our iOS, Android, and web app builds quality before release into testing and ultimately production environments
• Understand the intended purpose and objectives for our products, so you're not only testing for success or failure, but if the function is being delivered
• Work with our product and engineering teams to build testing plans for full functional product tests, smoke tests, and feature/function tests
• Report issues to the engineering team in a clear manner with a screen recording or written description of the issue and steps taken to reproduce the problem
• Assist in conducting performance analysis for our products, such as timing steps, measuring speeds, etc.
• Write test automation scripts to ensure optimal coverage of automated testing for various parts of our CI/CD pipelines.

What we're looking for:

• Must have either mobile or web QA testing experience - ideally both
• Ability to create automated test scripts is a must (script based)
• Experience using AI powered QA tools is a must (Claude Code, MCP, Playwright, etc)
• Experience with automated testing specifically for CI/CD pipelines is a must
• Experience testing APIs or cloud services is a big plus
• Experience testing on real mobile devices (with tools like Firebase test labs) is desired

This role is a contract to perm position. We are looking for someone that is comfortable starting on a month to month contract basis and joining the team on a full time basis if it's a mutual fit.
