JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manual Software Tester with strong expertise in mobile application testing across iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality mobile user experiences, validating functionality across devices, and guiding QA best practices within the team.
- Analyze product requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios and test cases for mobile applications
- Perform manual testing on iOS and Android apps across multiple devices, OS versions, and screen sizes
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, UAT, and exploratory testing for mobile applications
- Validate UI/UX consistency, responsiveness, and usability across devices
- Test mobile-specific features such as:
- App installation/uninstallation and updates
- Push notifications
- Offline/online behavior
- Device permissions (camera, location, storage, etc.)
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and designers to clarify requirements and improve product quality
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Review test cases and mentor junior QA engineers
- Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields Experience working with automation systems or robotics-related technologies (e.g., motion planning, control, computer vision, AI)
- 5+ years of experience in manual software testing, with strong focus on mobile applications
- Hands-on experience testing iOS and Android platforms
- Familiarity with real device testing (phones, tablets) and/or cloud device farms
- Strong understanding of mobile testing challenges (fragmentation, performance, network variability)
MUST HAVE:
- Test case design techniques (boundary value, equivalence partitioning, etc.)
- Bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of:
- API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
- Mobile debugging tools (logs, crash reports)
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
