This position will work in collaboration with the Quality and Compliance team, becoming a main point of contact for factory quality and compliance of various categories for all our partners in Vietnam and Cambodia. Primary focus will be on TPM/TPR meetings with Target as well as conducting quality inspections for the factory bases in/near Hai Phong (some further travel may be needed on occasion). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a high level of flexibility, commitment, honesty, and a passion for maintaining our strategic manufacturing partnerships.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review, document, train, and share all inspection-related checklists and procedures by category with our manufacturing partners.
- Implement, conduct, and coordinate all HGU inspections following established AQL guidelines supported by international quality and safety standard requirements, including those with our 3rd party supporting labs.
- Implement, conduct, and coordinate all initial HGU audit supporting materials to support in-country expansion.
- Analyze the results of inspections and compliance testing documentation to support industry best practices and continuous improvement.
- Audit, evaluate, and update HGU current policies, procedures, and supplier documentation of product compliance and quality, in alignment with government laws and regulations for inspections and audits.
- Assist in other product quality and compliance-related needs.
Required Skills & Experience
- Preferred 2-4 years of experience in a regulatory compliance environment or working for a 3rd party lab or inspection agency related to hard goods product quality, compliance, and retailer requirements.
- 2-4 years experience in data entry/management, auditing, or related field.
- Frequent travel expected in/near Hai Phong with occasional travel to other locations in Vietnam.
- Preferred - accredited for Target Branded Product Quality Inspections (TGT BPQI).
- Highly organized, honest, detail-oriented, data-driven, and self-starter; comfortable with business software, such as Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English with Mandarin preferred.
- This role may be located in/near Haiphong or Hai Duong.
