Quality Assurance & Food Safety Manager

Job Description:

The Senior Quality Assurance Manager VN will lead the Vietnam QA & FS team based at PVM Vietnam factory. She/He will lead and own the QA&FS Program for all PVM products produced in the Vietnam and sold in home trade market as well as exported in several countries across the globe, whether produced internally or externally at co-manufacturers or co-packers.

Additionally She/He will support and facilitate the implementation and transition to the new Target Operating Model (TOM) with the QA-QC split.

Design, implement, and maintain QMS (Quality Management) and FSMS (Food Safety Management) systems that meet regulatory, Quality, and Food Safety requirements.

Pre-empt regulatory changes by external information gathering, taking part in, for instance, industry forums

Use the QMS/FS system to gain competitive advantage

Develop and update quality and food safety policies, procedures, and standards in line with Global Quality requirements, regulatory changes and best practices.

Lead continuous improvement projects using data-driven methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to enhance food safety, quality, and compliance across the organization.

Lead the Q&FS Culture implementation

Lead the Product Quality and Design Quality implementation

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in food engineering / F&B Technology or similar

At least 10-12 years of experience in a manufacturing plant as well as experience managing QA/QC functions. Food plant experience is highly preferred, as well as working within a global network

At least 5 years of team leadership required

Experience in food or pharmaceutical industry is preferable.

Excellent in command of computer skills, SAP

Good at English communication

The ability to plan, conduct, and follow up audits of QMS & FS system within PVM as well as suppliers, copackers and co-manufacturers.

Leadership and communication skills

The ability to design, implement, certify and constantly optimize the QMS / FS system, covering design-, supplier- (including copackers and co-manufacturers), manufacturing-, and customer/consumer quality.
