Quality operation:
- Directly manage the QA, QMS, Lab, and Outsourced Quality Management units at BTMi and BTM VN, ensuring compliance with established quality standards and driving continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and oversee a unified quality management system across BTMi & BTM Vietnam to ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements
Product Quality Assurance (QA)
- Oversee and ensure effective control of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products in compliance with quality standards.
- Manage quality losses and customer complaints, leading resolution and improvement initiatives to minimize quality losses.
- Drive the implementation of standardization across manufacturing sites.
Quality Management System (QMS) Management:
- Provide strategic direction, improve, and update the quality management system, related processes, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance through internal and external audit activities.
- Monitor industry trends, update regulatory changes, and propose improvement initiatives to maintain competitiveness.
Laboratory (Lab) Management
- Manage the product testing and inspection system.
- Research and develop new testing methods to support production and product development.
- Ensure the accuracy, objectivity, and transparency of test results.
Outsourcing Quality Management
- Establish and oversee the quality management framework for outsourcing units/partners, ensuring compliance with group standards and contractual requirements.
- Conduct periodic evaluations, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement of quality management systems at outsourcing units.
- Manage and coordinate the resolution of quality issues in outsourced products, ensuring effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Process and system
- Build and periodically update the Company's process and document management system (including Regulations, Policies, Processes, Instructions) according to ISO 9001 and global best practice in process management.
- Collaborate with departments to maintain and improve audit processes, ensuring compliance with ISO 22000, ISO 17025 HACCP, GMP, EU-USDA-China-Japan organic standards, and customer-specific requirements.
- Conduct regular quality reviews, provide team guidance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Review and update quality policies, procedures, and documentation in line with best practices and regulations.
- Provide training and development to enhance the team's capabilities and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure effective implementation of quality principles across the organization
- Stay informed of industry trends, new regulations, and recommend necessary changes to remain competitive.
REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree in food science, Dairy Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree would be a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the Fresh
- In-depth understanding of Quality Management operations and best practices, preferably in food processing or export sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated experience with quality management systems, process improvement methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
- Professional certifications in quality management or food safety (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP) are highly desirable
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Proficient in the use of quality management software and tools.
