1. Establish cost norms for projects

+ Determine the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for the project and prepare detailed quantities for each activity.

+ Develop standard cost norms for materials, construction costs, project management costs, contingency, and other related items.

+ Establish estimated cost norms based on design, industry standards, and the quality requirements of the project.

+ Collect information, standardize, compare and control unit prices from multiple sources (suppliers, vendors, market).

2. Project construction cost estimation

+ Perform construction cost estimates for the project across all development stages (Concept, Design, Construction, Operation)

+ Assess construction costs and investment costs for projects provided by partners.

3. Document, progress tracking

+ Manage estimating BOQ, tender documents, and payments dossiers.

+ Track and handle contract changes, adjust unit prices for market fluctuations and design changes; manage construction variations and evaluate related costs.

+ Monitor construction progress against the budget and periodically update cost reports.

4. Project management and other tasks

+ Assist the direct manager with scheduling, meeting coordination (take meeting minutes, translation etc. from Vietnamese to English), documentation or any tasks on request.

+ Manage project trackers and ensure deadlines are met.

+ Coordinate communication between project teams and stakeholders.

+ Reviewing design drawings within capability.

+ Take on increasing responsibility for project management and coordination over time.

+ Site project management assistant .

+ Support for construction due diligence work for project participation.

+ Update of internal technical manuals for the Construction Team.

(particularly in the infrastructure and project management fields)

Qualifications :

+ Undergraduate degree in University

+ University graduate (Bachelor of Construction Economics/ Construction Management / + Civil and Structure Engineer or equivalent).

+ High proficiency in speaking and writing English.

+ Experience: a minimum of 5 years in a QS management role; 3–5 years of experience in a similar position. Experience preferred on Mid-end and High-end Residential / Mixed-use / Urban development projects.

+ Well understand the QS roles in projects.

+ Ability to work independently and take initiative.

+ Willing to support / collaborate with colleagues in the company

+ Strong organizational and time management skills

+ Will be based in HCMC, but sometime have business trips to Hanoi

+ Ownership of assigned tasks, cooperative, flexible, keep to learn new areas

+ PC skill (CAD, Word, Excel, Power Point)
