Job Summary:
The QC Manual will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through systematic testing and validation. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in designing and executing test cases, and the ability to identify issues early in the development cycle.
The QC Manual Tester will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver flawless user experiences and continuous product improvements.
The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and passionate about delivering high-quality software that meets business and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Perform different types of testing including functional, regression, API, and cross-browser/device testing.
- Ensure accurate defect reporting, tracking, and resolution using project management and bug tracking tools.
- Analyze test results, identify recurring issues, and recommend improvements to enhance overall system quality.
- Collaborate with development and product teams in Agile environments to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
- Continuously suggest improvements in testing processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with strong knowledge of manual testing practices.
- Hands-on experience testing across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative team workflows.
- Proficiency in testing tools and platforms such as Jira and Postman.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to testing.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
