What you need to do
Carefully analyze data specification, coordinate with software development teams to understand project goals, testing objectives and requirements.
Develop a detailed plan to write test cases for the product/module/screen/function.
Design and build test cases using a variety of methods.
Perform tests to ensure project quality control, record errors and monitor error correction progress on management software.
Report project progress to department head.
Support and closely coordinate with departments to implement, investigate, resolve and handle related issues.
Contribute to building and participating in improving and improving manual (automation) processes to reduce testing time for the project.
Train team members on testing skills and test case development.
Your skills and experience
Must have:
B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work or educational experience.
At least 3+ years of experience in software testing or relevant positions with CMS, E-commerce, Finance domain.
Experience with API Testing.
Basic knowledge of SQL and other data retrieval methods.
Ability to perform defect reporting and tracking and use defect software (Jira, Redmine,).
Excellent analytical, planning and software development life cycle skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure issues are handled in a fair, consistent manner.
Excellent computer related and developmental skills, with the ability to learn new software.
A Fast learner with good problem-solving skill is preferred.
Ability to work in groups or independently.
There is a high sense of responsibility. Ability to withstand high pressure at work.
