Responsibilities
- Analyze project requirements and define the scope and testing strategy for each project phase.
- Work closely with BA, PM, and related stakeholders to clarify requirements and testing expectations; participate in client discussions when needed.
- Develop overall test strategies, master test plans, and detailed test plans for the testing team.
- Manage testing progress, resources, and quality to ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Review and control the quality of testing deliverables (test cases, test reports, defect reports, etc.).
- Participate in hands-on testing when necessary to ensure all tests are executed properly and issues are fully identified.
- Analyze defect trends, evaluate product quality, and report testing status and quality metrics to Project Managers and stakeholders.
- Propose and implement improvements to testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build and develop the QC team by establishing testing processes, supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training activities.
- Collaborate closely with BA, Developers, DevOps, and PM throughout the design, development, and delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 7 years of hands-on manual testing experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a Test Manager / QA Manager / QCM role.
- Strong understanding of software testing processes and techniques in Agile/Scrum and other development models.
- Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Strong team management, planning, monitoring, and reporting skills.
- Logical thinking, proactive mindset, high sense of responsibility, and good collaboration skills.
Preferred
- English at a basic communication level, able to listen, understand, and communicate with clients during project discussions.
- Strong English skills are a plus, especially the ability to work confidently and directly with international clients.
- Experience working on Global projects, particularly in IT services / outsourcing / solution-based models.
- Experience participating in multi-domain projects (e.g. fintech, finance, healthcare, etc.) with high requirements for process compliance and quality.
- Experience in building, standardizing, or improving QA/QC systems for project delivery teams.
