Job Description

Location: Bình Thạnh District, Ho Chi Minh City

Job Overview

We are looking for a QC Game Leader / QC Manager to lead the quality control function, ensuring high-quality game products before release. This role will be responsible for building QC strategies, managing the testing team, and driving continuous improvement in quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the QC team to ensure product quality across all game projects.
  • Define and implement QC strategies, testing processes, and quality standards.
  • Plan, assign, and monitor testing activities to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  • Review and approve test plans, test cases, and execution results (functional & non-functional).
  • Oversee bug tracking, reporting, regression testing, and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Developers, and cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
  • Provide regular reports on testing progress, risks, and quality insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop QC team members to enhance performance and capabilities.
  • Ensure all builds meet quality standards before release.
  • Participate in product discussions to provide QC perspective early in development stages.
  • Handle escalations and critical quality issues effectively.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

Must Have

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software or game testing, including at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, QA processes, and development lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience in test planning, test case design, and execution.
  • Proven experience in team management, task allocation, and performance evaluation.
  • Strong analytical thinking with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Passion for games and strong understanding of game mechanics and user experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of automation testing tools or frameworks.
  • Experience with live game operations or multiplayer systems.
