Job Description

QC Engineer (Lumin Editor)

We are looking for a QC Engineer to join the Lumin team at DSV. As a QC Engineer, you will be part of a talented and committed community, passionate about delivering a high-quality experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with product owners and developers to understand project requirements and user stories.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases (both manual and potentially automated) for new features and existing functionalities of web applications.
  • Perform various types of testing, including: Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, UI/UX Testing.
  • Compatibility Testing (across different browsers and devices).
  • Security Testing (basic understanding and execution).
  • Identify, document, and track bugs/defects in a clear, concise, and detailed manner using bug tracking systems.
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce, analyze, and resolve defects.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments.
  • Analyze test results, prepare reports, and provide status updates on testing progress.

Your skills and experience
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance/Testing, specifically with web-based applications.
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proven experience in designing and executing comprehensive test cases and test plans.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with browser developer tools for debugging.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good at communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks/tools for web applications (e.g.,Cypress, Playwright).
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
