Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Test Execution: Develop and execute test scripts for automation test cases to ensure product quality and functionality.
  • Defect Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
  • Test Case Development: Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to resolve issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of test results, defect reports, and test case modifications.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to best practices in quality assurance.
  • Training and Development: Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality control methodologies and tools.

REQUIREMENT

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working quality control or software testing within an Agile development environment.
  • Knowledge of various types of testing, such as unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing concepts.
  • Proficiency in using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management tools to organize test cases, track defects, and manage test execution.
  • Hands-on experience with test stacks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Gherkin/Cucumber.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze requirements and identify test scenarios.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to write clear and comprehensive test documentation.
  • English: Effective communication skills to collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
