About QC Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled QC Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for both manual and automated testing activities, working closely with cross-functional teams (BA, Dev, PM) and global clients to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of software products across multiple projects and domains.

Responsibilities

•     Analyze requirements, user stories, and design documents to develop clear, effective test plans and test cases (manual and automated).

•     Execute manual test cases across functional, regression, integration, and UAT phases, and log defects with clear reproduction steps.

•     Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts/frameworks for web, API, and/or mobile applications to improve test coverage and efficiency.

•     Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test execution results.

•     Collaborate with BAs, Developers, and Product Owners to clarify requirements and validate acceptance criteria.

•     Track, report, and retest defects using bug-tracking tools, and follow up until closure.

•     Contribute to test strategy, risk assessment, and continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.

•     Support release readiness activities, including smoke testing, sanity checks, and production verification.

Requirements

Experience & Domain Knowledge

•     At least 3 years of experience in Automation Testing and 2 years of experience in Manual Testing

•     Experience testing web, API, and/or mobile applications.

•     Experience working with global clients/stakeholders is a plus.

Technical & Core Skills

•     Testing Fundamentals: Solid understanding of QA/testing methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and test design techniques.

•     Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with at least one automation framework/tool (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or Postman/RestAssured for API testing).

•     Performance Testing: Hands-on experience with Jmeter

•     Programming/Scripting: Working knowledge of at least one programming language commonly used in test automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#).

•     CI/CD & Tools: Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Git, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

•     AI Leverage: Hands-on with AI tool(s) to boost productivity (e.g., test case generation, script scaffolding, or defect analysis).

Analytical & Soft Skills

•     Ownership & Accountability: Take initiative and full responsibility for test quality and coverage across all sprints/releases.

•     Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying edge cases and risks.

•     Communication: Efficient English communication (both written and spoken) to work seamlessly with cross-functional and international teams.
