This position will lead the team of Technical Designers in our HCMC office and will act as the technical bridge between customers and vendors, driving sample accuracy, fit excellence and efficient development processes, while ensuring technical alignment across all stakeholders.

Lead, mentor and manage the Technical Design team, ensuring high technical standards and consistent execution across all brands.

Oversee the entire sample development process, from proto samples through approval, ensuring construction, fit, and workmanship meet customer expectations.

Conduct and lead fit evaluations (physical & virtual), providing clear, actionable feedback to vendors.

Review & provide suggestions for pattern corrections, and construction methods ensuring technical accuracy and manufacturability.

Work directly with the customer technical design teams to review, clarify and resolve technical and fit concerns.

Managing multiple customers, product categories and TNAs simultaneously, balancing priorities without compromising quality.

Monitor vendor KPI's and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure proactive risk management and smooth communication across functions.

Job requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma for Apparel Manufacturing, Quality Management or Textile Engineering from a recognized university or institute.

Above 12 years experience in Apparel technical design / Product Development, including min 05 years of experience in managerial or lead role.

Expert-level knowledge of garment construction, technical evaluation and apparel manufacturing processes.

Strong hand-on experience in pattern construction, pattern corrections and grading principles.

Experience with #D Apparel development software (Eg; CLO, Browzwear) is an added advantage.

Expertise in fit review and fit approval in multiple apparel categories.

Experience in handling multiple product categories.

Strong experience working directly with customer TD representatives.

Excellent English communication skills, able to clearly articulate technical issues, risks and solutions to both customers and vendors.

Ability to manage multiple customers, priorities and tight timelines simultaneously.

Strong leadership, coaching, and team management capabilities.

Good computer literacy including MS office & MS Outlook.
