Job Description

Job Purpose

The QA Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of Responsible Sourcing and Quality Assurance (QA) programs across Vietnam, Cambodia, and other assigned Southeast Asia countries. Key programs include Responsible Sourcing (RS), Enterprise Quality Assessment (EQA), Inspection, supplier/factory improvement initiatives, and other quality-related projects.

This role acts as a regional QA representative to ensure consistent execution of global QA standards by monitoring program effectiveness, evaluating third-party service provider performance, supporting supplier development, and driving continuous improvement activities.

The QA Specialist will work closely with the Shanghai QA team, suppliers, factories, third-party service providers, and cross-functional teams to support sourcing expansion, strategic initiatives, and operational excellence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible Sourcing & QA Program Implementation

  • Support the deployment and execution of Responsible Sourcing and QA programs across Vietnam, Cambodia, and other Southeast Asia countries, including RS, EQA, Inspection, and related quality initiatives.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through audit report reviews, factory visits, on-site assessments, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Follow up and verify corrective action plans (CAPA) to ensure sustainable improvement and compliance.
  • Identify program gaps, quality risks, and operational issues; provide recommendations and support improvement actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier/factory performance.

2. Third-Party Service Provider Management

  • Monitor and evaluate third-party service providers to ensure service quality, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct report reviews, on-site observations, and performance assessments to identify execution gaps and improvement areas.
  • Support service provider capability development and improvement programs.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the Shanghai QA team and management regarding service provider performance and program effectiveness.

3. Regional QA Projects & Initiatives

  • Support the implementation of regional QA strategies, projects, and improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in supplier onboarding, sourcing expansion projects, factory readiness assessments, and business support activities.
  • Assist in pilot projects, process optimization, best-practice sharing, and standardization activities across the region.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide regional support to internal teams through supplier engagement, factory visits, assessments, and special projects.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, factories, third-party service providers, the Shanghai QA team, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in supplier workshops, training programs, and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other tasks and projects assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in Social Compliance Audit, Responsible Sourcing, or QA-related functions.
  • Familiar with social compliance audit processes and requirements.
  • Good understanding of factory operations and supplier management.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Good stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with regional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience in retail, sourcing office, manufacturing, or supplier management environment.
  • Familiar with international compliance standards and audit programs such as BSCI, SEDEX, RBA, WRAP, and related frameworks.
  • Certification or knowledge of ISO 9001 and SA8000 is an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel skills; ability to use Excel Macros/VBA is preferred.
