Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead our quality assurance team and drive excellence in our testing processes. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in both functional and non-functional testing with proven leadership abilities to manage a team of 8-10 QA professionals. This role requires someone who can develop comprehensive test strategies, implement cutting-edge automation frameworks, and leverage AI tools to enhance team productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a QA team of 810 engineers, fostering quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, including functional and non-functional testing.
• Design and optimize automation frameworks with Playwright and Cucumber, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive performance testing using tools like JMeter or K6, defining benchmarks, SLAs, and resolving bottlenecks.
• Implement innovative, AI-driven testing solutions and process automation to boost efficiency.
• Communicate testing progress, quality metrics, and key insights to stakeholders and senior management.

Skills, knowledge, experience & qualifications:

Technical Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright and BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript with proven automation implementation for large-scale systems.
• Proficient in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, K6) and CI/CD integration.
• Deep expertise in load and stress testing, performance optimization, exploratory and usability testing, and security testing fundamentals.

Leadership Experience

• 5+ years in QA with 2+ years in leadership, managing teams of 810 engineers.
• Skilled in hiring, training, and developing QA talent, ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.
• Experienced in building and executing non-functional testing strategies at scale.

Additional Requirements

• Excellent English communication and strong analytical skills for performance insights.
• Experienced in Agile environments with an interest in AI-powered testing solutions.
• Capable of shaping long-term QA strategies aligned with business goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB certification or equivalent
• Performance engineering certifications
• Experience with APM tools (AppDynamics, New Relic, Dynatrace)
• Knowledge of cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with chaos engineering principles
• Experience in test data management and test environment setup
