The Position

At OPSWAT, we're building cutting-edge solutions that protect the world's critical infrastructure. As our QA Manager/Staff QA Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our OESIS SDK platform. You will be part of Scrum teams with a focus on architecting and enhancing test automation frameworks, driving automation strategies across teams, and mentoring QA engineers to build scalable and reliable automation solutions.

This is both a hands-on and leadership role. It's a chance to influence the direction of our technology and mentor the next generation of QA engineering leaders.   • Lead with Vision: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks for web, API, and backend systems within CI/CD pipelines (50%)
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Evaluate and introduce new test tools, technologies, AI, and methodologies to enhance QA efficiency (10%)
  • Drive QA Engineering Excellence: Review PRDs, improve processes, and champion best practices across the SDLC (20%)
  • Innovate Boldly: Steer the QA technology direction to keep us ahead of the curve in the security, automation, and AI space (10%)
  • Develop Talent: Mentor, coach, and create career growth opportunities for your team through technical workshops, documentation, and training sessions for QA teams (10%)

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
  • Fluent in English and Vietnamese with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of testing in Scrum/Agile development processes driving best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of performance, security, and reliability testing tools.
  • Positive attitude and passion for technology, innovation, and building secure, scalable systems.
  • Solid understanding of API testing, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong ability to mentor and develop junior and mid-level QA engineers.
  • Ability to create and implement visionary changes to optimized QA test strategies and processes
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

It Would Be Nice If You Have

  • Experience with cybersecurity, identity access, patch management, or endpoint protection.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native services or enterprise-grade applications.
  • Detailed knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and device management.
