MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Mentorship (30%):
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of up to 5 QA Engineers and 4 interns
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, helping them grow their skills and careers.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure equitable workload distribution.
Test Strategy & Execution (70%):
- Product Requirement: Analyze product requirements and design documents, contributing expertise to ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation.
- Test Strategy: Take ownership of, and continuously improve, our existing integration testing strategy.
- Test Case: Conduct comprehensive reviews of test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage, accuracy, and adherence to best practices.
- Test Execution: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks and scripts using Playwright with Python, along with manual testing as a hybrid Tester; drive continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices for automated tests; conduct performance tests.
- Test Monitoring & Report: Monitor, analyze, and report on test results, identifying trends and areas for improvement, provide visualization of results using graphical tools.
- Team collaboration: closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure testability.
- AI leverage: Ability to apply AI-driven solutions across the end‑to‑end testing lifecycle to improve efficiency, coverage, and quality.
QUALIFICATION
- Above 7 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation testing
- Hands-on expertise in Python + Playwright, including automation framework design and maintenance
- Proven experience in leading or mentoring QA teams, including managing small team sizes (3–5 members)
- Ability to define and drive test strategy (integration/E2E), ensuring testability from early stages (shift-left approach)
- Solid experience in test design, test case review, and quality best practices
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong collaboration skills with Development, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders in Agile environments
- Strong English communication and documentation skills
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification
- Familiarity with Playwright (TypeScript) is a plus
- Experience with OutSystems or Low-Code/No-Code platforms is a plus
