About The Role
We are looking for a QA Lead to establish and drive the quality assurance strategy at LittleLives. You will be responsible for leading a small QA team, designing testing processes, and ensuring every product release meets our standards of reliability, performance, and usability. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to build a culture of quality across the company.
What You'll Do
- Quality Strategy & Ownership
- Define, implement, and continuously improve QA processes, tools, and standards.
- Drive both manual and automated testing approaches to cover functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Own test planning, execution, and reporting across squads.
- Hands-On Testing
- Actively design and execute test cases, both manual and automated.
- Build and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide QA engineers, helping them grow their technical and testing skills.
- Collaborate with Squad Leads and Developers to ensure testability and quality are baked into every feature.
- Advocate for best practices in CI/CD pipelines and shift-left testing.
- Cross-Team Alignment
- Partner with Product Managers to clarify acceptance criteria and ensure business goals are met.
- Work with Engineering to maintain a balance between fast releases and high product stability.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Strong background in manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- A mindset of ownership, attention to detail, and passion for product quality.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience testing SaaS or large-scale distributed systems.
- Exposure to performance, load, and security testing tools.
- Familiarity with data privacy and compliance testing across multiple countries.
