QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Levels: Junior, Middle & Senior

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for QA Automation Engineers across Junior, Middle, and Senior levels. You will develop and maintain automation solutions for web, API, integration, and end-to-end testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve software quality.

Depending on your experience, you may also design automation frameworks, mentor engineers, and lead technical initiatives across multiple projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain automated tests using Java or Python, Selenium, and Playwright.

• Build reusable automation components and improve existing frameworks.

• Automate functional, regression, smoke, API, and end-to-end testing.

• Analyze requirements, design test scenarios, and investigate test failures.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform API and database validation.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices.

• Mentor engineers and lead automation initiatives where appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing.

• Programming experience with Java or Python and knowledge of OOP.

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

• Experience with Playwright or willingness to learn it quickly.

• Familiarity with TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar frameworks.

• Knowledge of API testing, Git, SQL, and CI/CD.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

• English proficiency sufficient for technical documentation and project communication.

EXPERIENCE LEVELS

• Junior: 1–2 years of experience.

• Middle: 3+ years, with experience maintaining automation frameworks and working independently.

• Senior: 5+ years, with experience building frameworks, defining automation strategies, and mentoring engineers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with REST Assured, Python Requests, or similar API automation tools.

• Knowledge of automation design patterns such as Page Object Model.

• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Docker, or cloud platforms.

• Experience with BDD, microservices, performance, or security testing is a plus.
