Role Summary:
Our client is looking for passionate software engineers/developers with a focus on hardware integration. The engineer/developer will be an integral part of our team, working on GraviOS, our proprietary software program, to control device parameters, visualize processed data, and facilitate communication between various hardware components of our quantum gravimeter. This role involves enhancing the current software platform by developing next-generation features, refining processes, and analyzing results.
Responsibilities:
Implement backend features to enhance frontend functionality
Utilize Python for backend programming and hardware interaction
Enable parameter optimization and conduct testing on individual subsystems
Develop a robust data processing and management system to organize results from multiple hardware components
Conduct thorough software testing and debugging.
Who We Find:
An absolutely driven individual with demonstrated creative problem-solving skills, analytical mind, and persistence, ideally demonstrated
Proficiency in Python (preferred) or C/C++ programming and debugging
Worked on personal hobby projects (and can brag about them!)
Even Better If You Have:
Worked in a technical student team, or an early stage company environment on electro-mechanical projects
Experience with developments on embedded systems, including the use of graphical libraries such as Qt
Software experience in projects through to testing & completion
Worked on machine learning algorithms before.
