Job Description

I. What You'll Do

We are looking for a technically strong Python Operations Support Engineer to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will act as the first line of support for researchers and internal users by managing and resolving issues through our JIRA Service Desk.

You will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, driving automation initiatives, and improving support efficiency through smart tooling and scripting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational and technical support requests.
  • Manage, categorize, troubleshoot, and resolve tickets in JIRA Service Desk on time.
  • Take full ownership of issues from initial triage to resolution, including coordination with DevOps or Engineering teams for complex cases.
  • Develop automation scripts and internal tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve ticket resolution workflows.
  • Explore and implement bots or AI-assisted solutions to enhance support productivity.
  • Monitor system health using tools such as Grafana and Prometheus and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth system operations.

II. Job Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

  • Minimum 2.5 years of professional experience in Python, including hands-on experience with common data analysis libraries such as NumPy and Pandas.
  • Experience developing and maintaining web-based applications using JavaScript (Node.js) or Python frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Practical experience with JIRA, Git, and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and drive them to resolution.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Background in DevOps, SRE, or operational support roles.
  • Exposure to Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence concepts.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to enhance operational workflows and automation.

  • Location:QTSC Building 1, Quang Trung Software City, Trung My Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (District 12)
  • Working Time:8:30 AM-6:00 PM from Monday to Friday
