Our client is engaged in the provision of Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) to leading global consumer and industrial brands. To support our growing business and production scale, we are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Manager who can speak both Chinese and English.
Responsibilities
- Lead BU purchasing team in Vietnam to sustain factory daily operations.
- Localize BOM and indirect items in Northern Vietnam.
- Order fulfilment to sustain production run.
- Communicate with internal departments in both Vietnam and China.
- Monitor and improve supplier performance in terms of quality, on time delivery, cost and responsiveness.
- Facilitate audit like ISO9001, ISO14000, IATF16949, C-TPAT and FSC, etc.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Purchasing/ Supply China/ Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- 7 years+ relevant experience of which not less than 4 years at managerial level in electronics manufacturing industry, preferable in EMS environment.
- Familiar with factory operations in Asia Pacific countries.
- Extensive working experiences in order fulfillment and material sourcing are required.
- Independent, analytical, dynamic, self-initiative, and a good team player.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
- Candidate not a degree holder or with less experience will be considered as Assistant Purchasing Manager / Supervisor.
