Purchasing Executive

Role Description:

• Source and evaluate suppliers.
• Request quotations and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Comparing purchasing price to market fluctuation and identifying items to be dealt with.
• Issue and manage purchase orders.
• Monitor deliveries and ensure on-time supply.
• Maintain supplier relationships and resolve procurement issues.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet purchasing needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and support cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-function teams on continuous improvement initiatives related to Purchasing data systems, processes, and analytics.
• Assist in providing data required to build cost to serve analysis of supplier partners. Supporting detail for budgetary needs.
• Working on historical data to analyze purchasing price, and suppliers capability, proposing solutions and monitoring implementation.
• Supports the day-to-day analytical requests of both internal and external clients.
• Prepare purchasing reports and maintain accurate record
• Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong skills in Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions, with experience managing end-to-end purchasing documentation.
• Proficiency in Purchase Management and Procurement, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract follow-up.
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in manufacturing or FMCG environments is an advantage.
• Ability to analyze data, compare quotations, and make cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfort with using ERP or purchasing systems and basic proficiency in office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing).
• Relevant diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
