PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to support supplier-related operations, including supplier scouting and onboarding, social audit coordination, document management, and price comparison, ensuring smooth and efficient collaboration between the global team and suppliers.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Supplier Scouting
- Finding potential new suppliers, collecting available information on factories
- Monitoring supplier onboarding to our Vendor Management System
Cost Analysis
- Tracking raw material prices, informing the team in case of significant changes
- Price comparison based on different material groups needs
Data maintenance
- Updating prices, payment terms, and other master data in ERP system
- Updating information in VMS, including follow-up with suppliers
Team support
- Collecting and sending product samples and documents
- Order creation and order list maintenance.
- Other tasks assigned by the superior
Coordinating social compliance audit with suppliers
- Onboarding new suppliers to BSCI
- Booking of audits
- Uploading and distributing audit reports
- Follow-up of improvement measures together
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in relevant commercial or technical fields
- Up to one year's experience in relevant position is preferred.
- Business fluent in written and spoken English
- Solid command of Microsoft Office (advanced skills in Excel), interest to acquire knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Well-organized working style, good sense for accuracy
- Good communication skills, ability to express own arguments in a logical, well-structured way
- Self- motivated, ability to think analytically and work independently
- Good teamwork skills, willingness to support team members
