Key Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Source and purchase direct materials based on production and business requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, pricing competitiveness, and material availability.
- Negotiate pricing, lead time, and commercial terms with suppliers to achieve cost and operational targets.
- Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to support manufacturing operations and resolve supply-related issues.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and process requirements to support material sourcing and supplier selection.
- Monitor supplier performance and support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain purchasing records, reports, and ERP system data accurately and timely.
- Support cost reduction, localization, and supplier qualification projects.
Job Requirements Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in direct materials purchasing within manufacturing companies.
Skills
- Good supplier sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Good communication and presentation skills in Vietnamese and English.
- Familiar with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
- High integrity, professionalism, and understanding of purchasing ethics/code of conduct.
