Receive purchasing requests from departments and implement the procurement of equipment, materials, components, and supplies for production.
Search for, evaluate, and select suitable suppliers.
Purchase components and direct materials according to the production plan provided by the Production Planning Department.
Collect and review quotations, contracts, and other relevant purchasing documents.
Negotiate prices, purchasing terms, payment conditions, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Follow up on delivery schedules, check relevant documents, and coordinate with related departments during the receiving process.
Maintain and develop good relationships with suppliers.
Identify opportunities to optimize purchasing costs and improve procurement efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
2. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's/College degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in sourcing, evaluating, and working with suppliers; experience in price and purchasing term negotiation is preferred.
Ability to review and understand quotations, contracts, and relevant purchasing documents.
Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel; PowerPoint skills are an advantage.
Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow up on orders and coordinate effectively with different departments.
Careful, honest, proactive, and responsible.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Foreign Language
Good working knowledge of English or Japanese.
Candidates who can communicate and work with foreign suppliers are preferred.
