Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Public Area Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our establishment's common areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests.
- Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, corridors, lifts, stairwells, and toilets to the highest standards
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure all areas meet our cleanliness and safety standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate department
- Properly use and store cleaning supplies and equipment in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Assist with the upkeep of back-of-house areas as needed
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
- Keen eye for detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to work, including willingness to work various shifts
- Customer-focused mindset with a positive and friendly attitude
- Commitment to delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming environment for guests
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established procedures
- Basic English language skills (both verbal and written)
