Job Overview And Responsibility
Own the Vietnam market launch and ramp-up for our shared e-bike business. You will plan, execute, and operate end-to-end: market entry, station/fleet rollout, processes, systems, and teams. You will work closely with HK leadership but carry day-to-day ownership for outcomes in Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Launch & Scale: Build and execute the Vietnam go-live plan; sequence pilots rollout; hit volume, quality, and unit economics targets.
- Operations Leadership: Stand up and run fleet/station operations, battery swapping/charging, maintenance, and customer SLAs; drive SOPs and continuous improvement.
- P&L Discipline: Track and improve unit economics; manage budgets, costs, and productivity; report transparently to HK.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Orchestrate ops, product/tech, marketing, and vendors for launches, expansions, and service upgrades.
- Regulatory & Stakeholders: Ensure compliance; support/go to government interactions; manage landlords/partners for stations and infrastructure.
- Team Build & Lead: Hire, train, and lead frontline/ops teams; instill a hands-on, data-driven, safety-first, customer-first culture.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience: 48+ years in PM, GM, CEO,... from consulting/tech/startup/ops, with proven launch/scale experience in an asset-intensive or mobility/logistics/last-mile environment. Prior P&L or unit-economics ownership strongly preferred.
- Ops & Process: Deep ops mindset; has built SOPs, KPIs, and dashboards; comfortable running day-to-day operations.
- Tech Fluency: Worked with product/engineering to deploy/improve ops tools (GPS/fleet/ops dashboards/mobile app).
- Project Leadership: Can run complex, multi-workstream launches under time pressure; strong vendor and stakeholder management.
- People Leadership: Built and managed on-the-ground teams (1520+); hands-on coaching; leads from the front.
- Regulatory Awareness: Familiar with operating in regulated environments; experience engaging local authorities is a plus.
- Language: Fluent Vietnamese and English. Mandarin/Chinese is a strong plus for HQ coordination.
- Education: Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related. MBA/consulting background a plus.
