Job Description

On behalf of our international client, we are hiring a Project Manager to support their large-scale financial services projects.

Our client is a technology-driven organization providing digital transformation, system integration, and software delivery for banks and securities firms across multiple regions.

Joining the team as a Project Manager , you will take ownership of complex banking/securities projects, coordinate with multiple vendors and subcontractors, manage risks, ensure compliance, and drive high-quality delivery for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality targets are met.
  • Coordinate integration with multiple vendors (core banking, securities systems, data providers, cloud services, payment systems).
  • Represent the client in vendor negotiations relating to pricing, SLAs, and cloud funding programs.
  • Manage subcontractors: vendor selection, onboarding, work assignments, performance evaluation, and invoice tracking.
  • Oversee governance activities, including status reporting, risk escalation, change management, and UAT.
  • Produce and maintain project artifacts such as project plans, RAID logs, integration documentation, and cut-over plans.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and regulatory requirements are met for banking and securities environments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve blockers and ensure smooth execution.

Requirements

Technical skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience.
  • Proven experience delivering at least 2 end-to-end projects for banks, securities firms, or financial institutions.
  • Strong experience managing multi-vendor integrations (APIs, middleware, batch feeds).
  • Experience negotiating with external vendors, cloud service providers, and technology partners.
  • Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies; ability to select the appropriate delivery approach.
  • Ability to prepare structured reports, documentation, and project artefacts.
  • Native Vietnamese speaker with strong English proficiency for client and vendor communication
