Project Management Engineer

The Project Manager is responsible for the customer order (project) from moment of

order until delivery of the Caterpillar engines. During the delivery process the Project

Manager is the first point of contact between customer and Phu Thai Marine for all

matters related to the customer order including product, application, and installation

issues. Internal communication and managing the internal process will be a significant

task.

1. Set up and monitor/correct the planning of all activities to the customer order

together with the relevant departments.

2. Proactively communicate with the customer for all matters related to the order

including product, application and installation issues and status of the project.

3. Ensure proactive and clear internal communication about project status; take

corrective actions when necessary

4. Take responsibility for the administrative, technical and financial side of the

project

5. Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills; ensure clarity and

quality in communication internally and externally.

6. Identify problems, gather and analyze information, develop solutions, and resolve

issues efficiently and promptly.

7. Review and analyze technical specifications; provide appropriate solutions to the

Quotation Team, Sales Representatives, or Technical Manager when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 5 years of relevant working experience
• Strong knowledge of CAT offshore/marine organization and products
• Good understanding of dealer commercial operations
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to work independently
• Good English communication.
