Role Overview

The Project Leader Data Analytics will oversee the end-to-end management of data-driven projects, ensuring timely delivery, optimal quality, and alignment with business goals. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. You will act as a bridge between clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver impactful analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

Monitor project progress and ensure timely execution of milestones.

Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of data engineers, analysts, and developers.

Assign responsibilities, set expectations, and foster a culture of collaboration.

Conduct regular team meetings to track progress and resolve roadblocks.

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.

Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders through reports and presentations.

Collaborate with business users to identify key performance metrics and analytics opportunities.

Technical Expertise

Oversee the design and implementation of data analytics solutions, leveraging tools like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Power BI, and others.

Ensure the integrity, security, and scalability of data solutions.

Collaborate with technical teams to ensure best practices in ETL, data modeling, and dashboard design.

Continuous Improvement

Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and AI.

Identify areas of improvement in project delivery processes and implement changes for efficiency.

Contribute to the development of TC Data's methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications

Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, BI, or related projects, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and cloud platforms like Azure (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Factory).

Proven track record of managing data analytics projects from concept to completion.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders.

Experience with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.

Nice to Have:

Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Power BI, or PMP.

Experience in industries like manufacturing, finance, consumer goods, or retail.

Familiarity with advanced analytics and AI tools such as Python, R, or Machine Learning frameworks.
