A. Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Engineering team, Production, PQC, EHS, and Purchasing for projects aimed at improving productivity, safety, quality, reliability, etc.
- Manage improvement projects (OPEX), and machinery installation projects (CAPEX) as assigned.
- Receive information and understand requirements from direct manager and end-users regarding machinery & equipment and safety improvements.
- Create a Scope of Work (if contractor required): installation standards, acceptance standards, drawings, technical specifications, etc.
- Survey and clarify information with end-users, related departments, contractors as required by the scope of work.
- Develop and submit designs for approval.
- Create and implement schedules for project implementation.
- Regularly report and align project progress to direct manager.
- Perform contractor supervision and licensing procedures which includes safety requirements for contractors, project team, end-users.
- Inspect details during installation process.
- Prepare training materials related to machinery and equipment of assigned projects. Conduct training for end-users and related departments.
- Take responsibility for the progress, quality, and safety of all assigned projects.
- Monitor finished projects delivered to end-users and ensure all issues resolved (if any).
- Perform other tasks as required by line managers.
B. Job Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or related fields
2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
3. Technical Competencies:
- Foundational knowledge in mechanical engineering and mechatronics.
- Basic understanding of hydraulic systems: oil pumps, oil valves, hydraulic cylinders, etc.
- Basic understanding of pneumatic circuits: air compressors, control valves, cylinders, and other actuators.
- Basic understanding of mechanical transmission mechanisms (belts, sprockets, bearings, etc.).
4. Skills & Ability:
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power-Point.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing softwares: Solid Work, Autocad.
- Ability to work under pressure of schedules.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Teamwork skills.
- Time management skills.
