Project Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our team for an outsource project .The Project Accountant will be responsible for managing and reporting financial information related to development projects. This role willwork closely with the CFOto ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, have a solid understanding of financial principles, and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial reports for developmentprojects

Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence tobudget

Maintain project accounting records and ensureaccuracy

Conduct financial analysis on development projects to identify trends and areas forimprovement

Assist with the preparation of project proposals and financialmodels

Support the project team with any financial inquiries orrequests

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field

CPA or CMA certification ispreferred

Minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting or financial analysis

Experience in the development/constructionindustry is aplus

Proficient in financial reporting and budgeting tools

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively andindependently

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiplepriorities
