The Role
You Will Be Responsible For
- Assigning tasks to production staff (editors, assistants, shooters, etc.) for their shift or scheduled work period.
- Monitoring progress to ensure that deadlines (shoot time, editing, delivery) are met.
- Ensuring quality standards are upheld (look/style, branding, client feedback).
- Managing resources: e.g. making sure equipment is ready, files/footage are available, logistics for shoots are set.
- Doing checks and reviews (approving drafts, supervising revisions).
- Handling smallscale troubleshooting (e.g. issues in the shoot, tech problems, editing delays).
- Communication: relaying feedback from creatives/clients, coordinating with other departments (creative, accounts, post-prod).
- Possibly supervising or mentoring junior staff.
