As a Production Planning Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating production planning and supervising the execution by the production team at selected plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Safety Standards, create safe work practices and contribute to the Plant's EHS Program.
- Coordinate with Production Supervisor to develop and maintain weekly / monthly Production Build Plan to meet customer demands, inventory targets and operations requirements
- Control the batch size of all products by liaising with Supply Chain AND Production Team to optimize process efficiency, quality and safety
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations (Production, Quality, Maintenance, etc.) team to resolve issues regarding product delivery, process issues or others related to production planning.
- Monitor production output and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer demand while optimizing productivity and efficiency.
- Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand and status reports for production progress, work in process and raw material inventory.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement Program by identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business / engineering/Industrial Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledgeable in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control, and Production Planning
- Knowledgeable in the ISO-related quality systems.
- Oracle/SAP/ERP exposure is preferred
- Proficient in verbal & written English and local language.
