Role Description
- Responsibilities for the smooth day-to-day running of Production Planning Operation from finished good to raw cutting plan.
- Control WIP level from WW - FIN within Target.
- Control and improve Ontime delivery at each production stage.
- Lead problem solving to kick out risks impact to planning.
- Lead Production Planning team.
- Coaching/ Mentoring team members.
- Strategic, tactical factory planning, managing 4 weeks to 8 weeks look-ahead new order request.
- Responsible for scheduling subcon component, make sure it aligns to production schedule with acceptable and improved lead time.
- Responsible for ensuring that all overtime is supervised, productive and necessary.
- To build relationships & work closely with all other departments related.
- Coordinating production, material & LEAN department to build data base for capacity, lead time at each production processes.
- Other tasks assigned by Senior Manager.
Qualifications
- Education & Major: Bachelor's degree in Supply chain, operation or Industrial management. (Background IT also advance).
- No. of general work experience: More than 5 years in furniture production and planning environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Power BI and other tools.
- Possess basic knowledge of Lean methodologies and have working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Expertise in overseeing and managing Production Management processes
- Strong in Coaching skill, Moderator skills, Communication skill, Basis project management skill, Planning skill, and Problem solving skill.
