Position Purpose: A Production Planner who will organize our production processes according to demand and quality standards. The duties will include ensuring the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations and organizing the efficient distribution of goods and materials. With organized well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them and have a results-driven approach together with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are also required.
Principle Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- Plan and organize production workflow for one or multiple products
- Assist in production schedule and capacity planning, material transfer, machine and operator allocation and production order follow-up to meet production delivery schedule.
- Estimate project needs of manpower equipment and raw materials
- Set goals tasks and priorities for workers and other staff
- Supervise production activities to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
- Detect and resolve issues when they arise
- Collect output information including number of finished products percentage of defectives and so on
- Create status and performance reports and present them to managers
- Manage the project paperwork
- Communicate with different departments in production activities. Work together with quality control warehouse and other staff
- Handle routine production material purchasing and order follow-up.
- Prepare production reports.
- Support office administration works.
- Follow through the actual production processes by using working instructions, machine manuals and product specifications which may be updated from time to time.
- Maintain on-time data entry in ERP system as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Production Management, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 2+ years&apos experience of working on a Production Planner or other similar position
- Significant experience with production planning and quality control activities
- Significant experience in manufacturing resource planning
- Good math and statistics skills
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Work as a team.
- Proficient in using MS applications (Pivot table/Vlookup) and familiar with ERP
- Have good data management and accuracy
- Organized, details oriented and good communication skills.
Language Skills:
- Language: Fluent Vietnamese & English. Chinese is optional (better to have)
- Clear and concise written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills that produce desired results.
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from internal and external customers including sales staff, internal colleagues and vendors.
- Capable of reading and interpreting information with the ability to share with others as needed.
- Ability to use personal computer and standard business and other work-related software with minimum instruction.
- Ability to read and interpret reports, sales materials and other related materials.
